And the acrobats walked across the handrails in the front of the mezzanine -- using only their hands. They climbed the tiles on the walls, too. As a young-ish theater-goer it was, for me, an incredibly exciting night, and Stacy Keach was everything a leading man should be.
And the show closed in Detroit because no one was coming to see it. The reviews were good, Stacy Keach was certainly a recognizable "name" at the time... I'll never understand it. |
