there are so few really lasting plays:
I was really taken with Marvin's Room in 1992.
now reviews of the current production dismiss it as not a keeper.
I remember the play as being very touching with distinctive characterizations and a very moving if understated curtain line

I don't think Wendy Wasserstein will be performed in 20 years.

I like to think Claybourn Park and others by this author will.
I am very fond of the breadth of Reckless and think that will have staying power-
maybe others think it too prodded an amalgam of the whimsical and the bleak.

Let's see how 3 Tall Women fares next season,
of course, Albee is a much more significant writer (maybe the CP author is in the same league)
I do remember that while most of the critics found his achievement with this impressive, the first act was regarded as superior to the second
