| Does anyone have any insight into why this is being produced by MTC at the Friedman and opening in August? Hal Prince is the most visionary director to have ever worked on Broadway. Is this show nevertheless considered so risky that it is being squeezed into such a small house? Is there a thought it might move if well received? Perhaps it is harder to conceive a show that is built around a director that is coherent in the same way as one built around a composer. Thoughts? | |
