Thank you, Aaron. I can only imagine how many lives you've opened thus far and how many are yet to experience NY theatre.

Personally, my first life-shattering trip was in the fall of my senior year, when we took a trip to a Renoir exhibit at the Chicago Art Institute. And then with a small group to NY and Broadway in spring. (Among our shows - original cast in Pippin) Literally, they were life changing experiences.

Years ago, after noticing that my thoughts and experiences in a city were largely driven by my interactions with people there, I made it a point to approach people looking lost or puzzling over some handout map in my city, SF. (And personally, I've mostly had wonderful interactions in NY - but know and respect the "don't waste my time" rule.)

Now, if we could only get all visitors (to most cities) to read a pamphlet on "how to be a pedestrian" covering - being conscious of the space around you, stepping out of the traffic flow for smartphone or selfie time, and how to navigate with an umbrella...

Thanks for sharing your experiences - and for your work in and out of the classroom.
