I'm firmly in the camp of loving Michael Crawford in the movie. I find him utterly adorable and charming and love his singing voice, as I did in the movie Forum and on the DVD of Barnum.
Agree that the billing is strange.
I don't agree with you that SImard's Ernestina is the same part at all She's a vulgar dope who embarrasses him. Gussie is knowing purposefully knocks him down a few pegs. |
