I wonder if they ever considered using ''Next'' from ''Pacific Overtures,'' which Prince also directed.
Of course, Sondheim would have to rewrite the lyrics quite a lot (''See what's coming, see what's going. Next!'').
Come to think of it, ''Prince of Broadway'' tried out in Japan, but it doesn't look like they included anything from ''Pacific Overtures.'' ;) |
