| It sounds like her -- you can even hear a few times some pre-nodes in her delivery of the song. Doesn't anyone ever notice that Blythe Danner at certain points in her career can barely talk without obvious cracks in her speaking voice? I think I read somewhere that she started as a soprano and some time after appearing to great success and a Tony in the non-musical "Butterflies Are Free" on Broadway somehow or somewhere got into big vocal problems (with a voice teacher maybe). I always liked her as an actress though and always thought she was lovely, but her speaking voice sometimes got in her way. |
