I've been checking everywhere I could think of for the last several weeks but there has not been an announcement.

just a reminder that announcing recoupment is not required. And I believe this is the first show that Jujamcyn lead produced so it may not have occurred to them that blasting that info over the internet is de rigueur.

I understand although more often than there will be a statement in Playbill.com that the production did recoup. When there is no statement, there's a lot of speculation on message boards that the show was a failure, although that may not be important to Jujamcyn.

Keep in mind that the Gross Gross was $12,400,000. That means the actual adjusted gross that trickles back to the production is 10% less than that - so $11,160,00 over 17 weeks. Thats an average adjusted gross of $646,500 per week. With stars and a largish cast I would guesstimate their weekly breakeven at about $400,000, including royalties. (it could be higher) That would mean in 17 weeks they would have earned back $4.18 million. I would think they are at or just above recoupment.
