Almost two different shows -- both great. Bette overwhelmed the show -- the cast seemed to step back from her performance (esp DHP). Donna is just wonderful -- she's also Dolly Levy and everyone, including DHP, seemed to be having lots of fun. This afternoon's matinee was a delight and actually mesmerizing. There were a few empty seats, so I encourage you to go.

I saw it this afternoon too and could not agree more-both are wonderful in different ways. Donna's voice is glorious as always,and I was soooo happy to be reminded of her great comic talents-they haven't been on display since Wonderful Town! The whole theater was like a giant love-in. She is certainly back where she belongs,spreading joy all over the stage,a genius performer! Can't wait to see her again!
