This isn't answering your question, more ranting about this odd video:

Am I the only one who feels surprised that they made this, considering that it gives us a chance to compare the two women side by side. For me, they are mismatched; Brittain Ashford has the much stronger/interesting voice, and this video simply tells me to hold off on seeing the show until she's back in it in August.

These producers keep making such terrible choices. (Is anyone else baffled by the newest ad campaign with the dancers in mostly boring costumes and generic poses... how does a show that looks so good in pictures keep picking terrible one to accompany their ads?)

There are two recordings of Duet for One from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, in which one actress plays two first ladies: outgoing Julia Grant and incoming Lucy( Mrs. Rutherford B) Hayes. June Anderson's version , on White House Cantata, is fine, But the version on a John McGlinn anthology(on Angel/Emi), titled Broadway Showstoppers, is sung/acted by double Tony winner Judy Kaye. It is amazing; She nails every laugh line and you don't have to check the libretto to understand every word.
