Hugh Jackman was Gaston in his first professional stage appearance in Australia. At the stage door, a little girl who had just seen the show handed him her book for his autograph. She did not recognize him (without the stage makeup) and asked : "Who are you?" HJ : "Gaston. "Little girl ( snatching back her autograph book) : "Nooo!!! You're bad!"
