Pipeline- LCT
Posted by: rjprod 12:14 am EDT 07/07/17

Tonight, I saw Pipeline. As a LCT member, I tend to see everything- and this was one of those plays I knew very little about. Didn't know the writer, Director or the cast. Read the synopsis when I bought my seats- and again today. In the meantime, I've seen very little on here about the show. Is this such a low key show that no-one is talking about it? It opens Monday. I hope the reviews are stellar and it lives beyond the Newhouse. The show is pretty great- fantastic acting, intelligent story, thought provoking and certainly a tad upsetting. It's a rare find- in a season of pretty incredible plays (i.e.: Incident, Band Visit, Dolls House 2 etc). This truly deserves board accolades and hopefully, it will fill one of the upcoming Broadway houses. Spoke to most of the cast afterwards- all lovely- all full of conversation about the subject. Highly recommended.
