| Gary Krawford had been on the tour as Peter and as the Robert understudy. For the final week of the Broadway run, he was brought in to the Broadway production as Robert. Later, he took over as Robert on the tour. Based on what else Snowysdad has said about his career, I don't think he's Gary Krawford. | |

| He was also a replacement Matt in The Fantasticks, which is funny because John Cunningham had been a replacement El Gallo. Linking his ovrtur page with some of his other musical theatre credits. He's also got movie and television credits that can be found on imdb. As I've mentioned before, he is Robert on the TOFT video of the Company national tour, shot at the final Saturday matinee in D.C. He's really terrific in the video. | |

| Thanks for the info. There is something kind of perfect about someone who doesn't really like or understand Robert playing Robert, which mirrors how the character himself is living his life. (Of course, I did see a production a few years back where the Robert didn't really understand the character and the whole show sank, so this isn't a foolproof approach to the play.) |
