Thanks for the info.
There is something kind of perfect about someone who doesn't really like or understand Robert playing Robert, which mirrors how the character himself is living his life.
(Of course, I did see a production a few years back where the Robert didn't really understand the character and the whole show sank, so this isn't a foolproof approach to the play.) |
