| I think even for those who adore the Bandstand recording, many of them might say Comet is the better one as a cast recording. (Assuming they don't hate Comet, which of course some do). Without the show's wonderful dancing as a backdrop (or even a frame of reference), I think Bandstand is less engaging. I like Comet more anyway, but I am also on record saying I think Bandstand is all about that dancing. |
