Ebullient, 90-minute, funny, well-choreographed, well-designed, well-miked production of this saucy melodrama, which covers all the plot-points in the novel.
The special event is that D'Artagnan is a girl, playing a girl, but dressed as D'Artagnan would traditionally be, fighting and swaggering as he would traditionally be. This has her in relationship with Constance...and the audience is just fine with it.
Oh yes. It's free. Very family/friendly.
SPOILER NOW:
(although....SPOILER...one very appealing character is killed--as in the original novel.) |
