I was in the area yesterday post-matinee and post-evening show, and was kind of amazed at the stage door crowd at Great Comet. I had no idea she'd be such a draw, although I guess the exact numbers remain to be seen. If the show is to weather the loss of Josh Groban, perhaps this type of casting for other characters is a way to do it.
