| Thanks for pointing that out, because I did not intend any such presumption. But I think you'll agree that there are those who do have the point of view that, to some degree at least, it factors into the equation, and what the post I responded to was telling those folks was that they should hush, lest they be blamed. That's a dynamic that has been in play since reconstruction. And we have heard it not just in that context but in relation to women, gays and every other minority. The fallacy of unintended consequences. |
