| I recently discovered online a recording of Maureen McGovern singing When There's No One from CARRIE, and I'm wondering if anyone knows where it's from? The song wasn't written yet when she did the workshop in 1984 (it was written during previews of the Stratford production) so I'm wondering if she recorded a demo for the writers due to her history with the show? Or if she was considering it for an album at some point? If anyone knows more about the origins of this recording, I'd love to hear about it! |
