| This is the same production which played to SRO houses in Sydney. Since then it has played Brisbane and Melbourne and is back at the Capitol as a return season with much of the same cast (a new Higgins, Charles Edwards from Downton Abbey). The Lincoln Centre production was announced at much the same time as Dame Julie's production, but they will be very different as this is reproduction of Moss Hart's 1956 staging with Oliver Smith's sets and Cecil Beaton's costumes. If you can catch it, you must go. It is truly loverly! |
