I think those observations are fair.
I f'ing LOVED Renée. She burrowed into my heart in a powerful way. And I do think she's gonna continue to work without a lotta trouble.
I do think Daveed is a stage star -- with that kinda stage presence that pops all the way to the last row of the balcony, but when I saw his work on "Blackish" i thought it was unmemorable.
But as I posted here back in the day, I actually think Jose Ramos is the unsung killer actor within that cast. I don't think HAMILTON showed off nearly all that he's capable of (which you can see on LMM's 21 CHUMP STREET mini-musical, below). I wasn't the least bit surprised to see that Spike Lee cast him in his next project. I think Mr. Ramos's acting instincts are astonishingly good. And I believe every single moment he goes for.
