In early performances, the "Jewish" line horrified and upset some Jewish audience members--especially those ladies involved in booking large numbers of seats for their organizations--Prince feared a backlash and changed the line to "meeskite." Grey, however, frequently said the original line, and said, "I forgot, I forgot!" Uh, yeah, right.
