The only thing I saw her in was 'Carrie' at Stratford. The show was such a mess that even as a 15-year-old I could see it didn't work, but she was mesmerising. It's easy to see why she withdrew from the production before it went to Broadway, but *nobody* sang that music as hauntingly as she did.
