Thank you for all the beautiful posts above..The only time I heard/saw Miss Cook was in '77, in ann Arbor's Hill Audatorium; Last vocal concert I attended there was Audra MacDonald, another Carrie; The two phases of her career were equaled by her breathtakingly candid Autobiography, God Bless Miss Cook,R.I.P...Not just admired, but beloved.
