After I saw the show Christmas week, I listened to all the earlier iterations, which were also exquisitely recorded, and loved the show even more. The new recording is wonderful, and only makes all of these bad decisions that much more frustrating.
So much has been written here, little if anything is left to say. But this musical's failure to run even a year is a textbook model for doing just about everything wrong. |
