They seemed to think he was a big name, and this board agreed.
I'm sure the the goal was to bring in a big name after Mandy (and we've rehashed how few names there are that would work), but it seems that they could have simply waited until Oak had finished his run to bring in that big name.
They're still running the show for the three weeks he would have been in it (which was a surprise to me - I expected them to close on the 13th), so they have the same amount of time they would have had if Mandy had stayed on board. |
