Saw and very much enjoyed today's matinee. I liked that some numbers that might not necessarily be heralded were included in the program, such as "Will He Like Me?" (that saddened me for a moment, thinking of the loss of Barbara Cook), and "So What." The printed playbill lists Michael Xavier as Che in the EVITA segment, but an insert for today's show indicated Tony Yazbeck, who did indeed play Che. I like both but Yazbeck is clearly the superior performer. He stole the show IMHO with his "The Right Girl" dance. The audience kept bursting into applause during that number. I also loved Karen Ziemba's "Worst Pies in London."

In addition to the set designer signatures for SHE LOVES ME and FOLLIES referenced earlier, I noticed the names O'Brien and Firth on Evita's microphones during "Don't Cry For Me, Argentina." Those are the surnames of the designers of EVITA.

Show ran 2:37.
