"We get enough of Cabaret from the revivals and movie and tours and cabaret performances, etc etc."

For me, CABARET was a huge highlight of PRINCE OF BROADWAY. It captures the original version, evoking the ingenious staging, design, and intent that was very different from recent incarnations. No track marks or upfront sleaziness among the Kit Kat Girls. Just a glamorous, exotic atmosphere that draws you in before packing its wallop. Since CABARET is my favorite musical, and I've had my fill of the recent incarnations, viewing this evocation of the original moved me to tears. - Michael Colby
