N.Y. Times reporter Sopan Deb, who covered Monday night's show, was there last night, too.
Deb tweeted: ''Murray repeatedly told cast members [Monday] that he'd come see it again. I don't think anyone thought it'd be immediately.''
Andy Karl playfully tweeted: ''Is this day happening again? Bill "frickin" Murray is back.''
According to the show's publicist, Murray might want to go again, so they should set a ticket aside for him.
As I said yesterday, I wish Murray had gotten behind this wonderful show much earlier, but I'm thrilled he's willing to help boost it now.
Meantime, THIS is news to me: Murray will be doing ''New Worlds,'' an album that features him singing and reciting. He'll perform George Gershwin, ''West Side Story'' and Stephen Foster tunes and read from Walt Whitman and Mark Twain, while a chamber ensemble plays Schubert and Bach. |
