| Yes, the production will most likely cost $30,000,000.00. So I've heard. P.S. I will most likely get some negative comments because of this, but I need to voice my opinion. As I posted a few weeks ago in one of my posts, I love ATC and how much I learn about theatre. I've been reading this board for quite a long time. There are awesome people and awesome conversations on this board. These faceless posters have monikers that have taken on visual personalities when I see them. And I can't wait to read the questions or thoughtful responses of others' posts. And then, OP, I see your name. A lot. Everyday. I'm probably saying the obvious to most of us: I feel you hijacked many ATC posts in the name of self promotion. Not in a "press release" kind of way, but in a "look at me" or "look at my career" kind of way. This doesn't sit well with me because your posts don't seem to follow the spirit of ATC I've encountered over the years. At all. This is not a request to go away, but for you to at least know how you are affecting this reader. I know you have a right to post on ATC. But while your "booming" your "latest" "scoop," your technique is affecting this board in a negative way. I read it in the snarky comments from others. This makes me sad. For you. And for ATC. I wouldn't have a problem if you genuinely wanted to share exciting news that you've heard through the grapevine, but again, you are clearly self promoting. If you want to be a theatre gossip columnist, aren't there other free avenues to take? To each his own? Yes. |
