In defense of Jesse, I find his posts to be quite informative and more importantly, most always backed up by solid facts and web links. In the process, he shares his own well-crafted reviews and POV which aren't "in your face." It's obvious that his passion of the medium is genuine. I admire his writing and feel he adds valid views to the discussion. (I don't always agree with his opinion.)
And Guillaume - YES! This is why I love this board! Even though we have different perceptions (particularly about Jesse), I hear ya and I'm glad you are sharing your thoughts. I enjoying hearing someone else's take on things.
Again, please know I didn't write the above post to attack the OP - I am merely voicing my concern of how his posting technique is affecting many of us and the spirit of this board. |
