I 150% agree with you.
One of the problems I had with the film of "Beauty..." was the excision of "If I Can't..." (even if I understood why), which did the emotional job handily as an act one closer. I saw the show in previews at the Palace, and I loved it on a first hearing. It seemed just right. |
