| I don't. "You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows." I read Josh Lucas's comments about this show in the NY Daily News and couldn't agree with them more. I usually don't comment about shows I haven't seen, but in this case I don't need to see. |

| Josh Lucas: ''Honestly, on the record, say as a performer on Broadway, that is a bogus ill-prepared show.” Lucas is welcome to his opinion, but speaking of ''bogus, ill-prepared shows,'' his one Broadway credit is the 2005 revival of ''Glass Menagerie.'' It was widely panned and closed 2 weeks early. Lucas played the Gentleman Caller and left before the end of the run, to do a movie. Ben Brantley said Lucas ''turns in a strangely contemporary, goofy performance, as if he were an alumnus of 'Saturday Night Live.' " I see Lucas is coming back to Broadway this November in ''The Parisian Woman,'' starring Uma Thurman. Hope he has better luck! |

| I'll admit to having been shocked at -- or at least put off by -- Josh Lucas's public lack of graciousness in blasting a show whose opening night he was attending. Now that you tell us his Broadway record, and his impending return, it's baffling that he didn't realize it would be best not to spout forth to the press like that. | |

| Why can't he have his own opinion about the show, and tell it? (I thought he was fine in an otherwise bad Glass Menagerie.) |

| He's entitled to his opinion of course, but it's hard to deny that there is a certain lack of graciousness in his expressing himself at such length and with such harshness to a reporter, when he's attending opening night -- presumably at the invitation of the producers or publicists. Maybe I'm just a stuffed shirt, but that was my reaction. |

| I agree with you. Of course, Lucas is welcome to his opinion, but he could've been more tactful in expressing it, especially since he was most likely given comps for opening night. He claims to be such a big fan of Moore's, so why not highlight the sections of the show or issues they both agree on? I'm guessing Lucas was there, in part, to plug his return to Broadway with Uma Thurman in ''The Parisian Woman.'' But either Lucas didn't promote it, or the reporter ditched any reference to it. It got overshadowed by Lucas' takedown of Moore. It's a matter of etiquette. I doubt Lucas would be thrilled if Moore came to the opening of ''The Parisian Woman'' and dumped on HIS performance. |

| I don't know. If he were bad-mouthing an actor in a play it would be one thing, but this isn't exactly a case of that. In fairness, if it were me, I would not have said such comments to the press. But I would have thought them. |
