I agree with you. Of course, Lucas is welcome to his opinion, but he could've been more tactful in expressing it, especially since he was most likely given comps for opening night. He claims to be such a big fan of Moore's, so why not highlight the sections of the show or issues they both agree on?
I'm guessing Lucas was there, in part, to plug his return to Broadway with Uma Thurman in ''The Parisian Woman.''
But either Lucas didn't promote it, or the reporter ditched any reference to it. It got overshadowed by Lucas' takedown of Moore.
It's a matter of etiquette. I doubt Lucas would be thrilled if Moore came to the opening of ''The Parisian Woman'' and dumped on HIS performance. |
