The Sea Gull and Orpheus are had to find, &they'll be shown starting at nine AM; It's Vanessa Redgrave Day, they'll also be showing, at various times during the day, Morgan, Camelot, and the wonderful Agatha, co-staring Dustin Hoffman, as a reporter trying to find the missing Agatha Christie .It's a wonderful film.

Just watched MORGAN. God! Was anyone ever as 60's-glamourous and beautiful as Redgrave in the prime of her youth? The movie holds up surprisingly well as a dark and insightful comedy rooted in its anti-establishment era. Watching THE SEAGULL now and admiring it immensely. Regardless of Chekhov's famous insistence that his plays were comedies, I prefer them gloomy and this version sets the gloomometer to eleven. Redgrave again is dazzling. The rest of the cast first rate. Shot in Sweden, it feels and looks authentic, if you can suspend disbelief regarding Simone Signoret's presence among the mostly British cast.
