Frozen tickets on sale this morning
Posted by: mikem 10:11 am EDT 08/14/17

The public onsale for Frozen started this morning. Although in the presale, you were able to choose seats, in the public sale, you can not. You have to take best available. Fortunately, since the seat maps were already up the day before, I was able to scope out when I wanted to go.

Thanks to royscho, I was able to get a premium seat for $169.50. Before he posted that, I was ignoring the premium seats because I thought they would be too expensive. 3rd row center orchestra. Closer than I had wanted to be, but I was worried that if I threw the seat back, I wouldn't be able to find another comparable one on my first choice of date.

There is a marked difference in price between weekdays and weekends. The same seats that are going for $117 on weekdays are something like $177 on the weekends. Not surprising given the demographic, and I have to say that I appreciate that Disney is not gouging as much as they could. On weekdays up until school is out, the top price (premium) is generally $169.

And the listings are piling up on StubHub already- I spotted 4 front mezz seats for the first preview listed for 2396.50 (fees included) EACH.

I imagine there will be TONS of verified resale tickets on TM's site as well. There's already over 100 listed on TM for the first preview & one unsold Orchestra seat.

It's giving me the option to select individual seats, but then of course it goes into an endless spin on "securing your Verified Tickets"... but I eventually got them.

Eventually we'll get to the point where technology can handle first-day traffic for a hot show.

More or less anyway, every Standard Tickets order was row Q or front extreme sides row C or around there. I ended up buying row A on the aisle at premium $169 for the 11th performace on a Wednesday. Yes it's too close perhaps but the aisle means everything to me, there are still two rows closer.

I got Row A front mezz for April 10 near center for $169 apiece.

Looks like it would be smart to buy tickets to resell. I found using my laptop via Safari I got tickets faster than using Firefox on my desktop which took forever to get into. I gave up and switched to my laptop.

Firefox was cheaper than Safari- as I posted elsewhere.

Safari Premium was $$60 more than the same seat thru Firefox. Quite odd

Bought the $167 Premium seat (Mezz A 1-3) - on Safari it was $227

How on earth did you get a "premium" ticket for $169?? I paid $199 for a regular seat????

Early in the run midweek premium is $169, there are still front mezz premium seats for my perf in March for the lower price.

Just looking over ticket sales and selling very very fast into June as you can now see that a map is available to choose from. Resale tickets inside ticketmaster are asking $3000 a pair for the first performance.
