| The public onsale for Frozen started this morning. Although in the presale, you were able to choose seats, in the public sale, you can not. You have to take best available. Fortunately, since the seat maps were already up the day before, I was able to scope out when I wanted to go. Thanks to royscho, I was able to get a premium seat for $169.50. Before he posted that, I was ignoring the premium seats because I thought they would be too expensive. 3rd row center orchestra. Closer than I had wanted to be, but I was worried that if I threw the seat back, I wouldn't be able to find another comparable one on my first choice of date. There is a marked difference in price between weekdays and weekends. The same seats that are going for $117 on weekdays are something like $177 on the weekends. Not surprising given the demographic, and I have to say that I appreciate that Disney is not gouging as much as they could. On weekdays up until school is out, the top price (premium) is generally $169. |
