| For the past month or so, every time I log in to ATC on a mobile device, I get redirected to a new web page after a few seconds that purports to describe me as one of "today's lucky winners" of a $1000 gift card. I can't get back to ATC without reloading th page. Anyone else experiencing this issue? |

| I'm trying to isolate the type of ad that triggers the pop-ups. I just made a change to the ad system - from now through today, please let me know if the pop-ups are fewer, more, or about the same as you have been seeing (log out of your browser, then back in to start fresh). Thanks. |

| I have logged in several times today on my iPad and have not been designated a "lucky winner" which is amusingly ironic because perhaps you have succeeded in defeating this annoyance. Thanks! |

| Our server has been certified clean of anything that would cause ads to display outside of the ones we intentionally show at the top and bottom of pages (and never a pop-up). I have received no further details from those who reported in this thread, so there's nothing else I can do, other than suggest people follow the links I provided - there is a good amount of advice out there, from Apple and others, about the "Lucky Winner" pop-ups and how to clear them from your devices. My offer to take details by email, and start a discussion for leads, always holds. |

| On the advice of a savvy teenage relative. I downloaded a free content blocker app onto my Apple devices. There are a number of these. The one I picked is called NeverAds. Seems to have done the trick. I'm no longer a "lucky winner" here or on any other site I visit regularly. | |

| I just had this happen to me this morning. It looked like Facebook page. Looked it up on line. Apparently it's a fairly common virus or worm or something. If you click on the prize it loads an app on your phone which it seems is easy to uninstall. In the meantime it sends out the page to your contacts. Also check in your settings to make sure you haven't allowed permission for apps to be automatically loaded onto your phone. I'm not an expert and I may have some of this wrong, so go on the internet and explore your particular situation. | |

| I experienced that for a couple weeks about a month ago. It got so bad that every post I clicked on it sent me to that "winner" page and it only happened on ATC. I quit visiting for a week and when I returned I haven't had the issue any more. Good luck | |

| We don't employ any pop-up ads. Sometimes things like that are downloaded secretly with free apps. I see similar reports with some advice when Googling "pop-up ad today's lucky winner of a $1000 gift card" (without the quotation marks). But it's logged as an "incident" and if others are seeing it, we will take an extra look at things on our end. |

| Yes, it only appears when I use my iPad or iPhone. It does not appear when I'm on my PC. And no worries, it's obvious it's not an ATC ad, though I only get it when I first log on to ATC. Next time, I'll try to take a picture of it and email it to you. |

| It may be malware on devices that triggers on the kinds of ads we run, but it is not necessarily our issue. I can't look into it unless people email me the data about their devices and browsers, and it would be helpful if people would try the suggested solutions for Apple products first. |

| I also get that same pop up when I am on ATC on my iphone. Terribly annoying because when you close it out, you need to log on to ATC again. It also appears now and again on other sites. But always on ATC and sometimes relentlessly. | |

| This strikes me as likely because the problem also occurs when I'm on Playbill.com, which, I assume, runs very similar (if not identical) ads. And, yes, I'm using an iPhone. I've tried the troubleshooting strategies mentioned in the link you posted above, but they haven't yet helped. |

| You can email me your device name, browser name, and when it happens (reading the main page, messages, when you login, etc.) and confirm that your device/browser software is up to date. Also, exactly what the pop-up says, and can you close it, etc. Also, please confirm that you've looked at the things on this page: |
