I'm sure you did. I certainly saw it at NYMF then.(Max von Essen headed the cast.)Apparently, NYMF--like many other venues--doesn't count when a NY--or even a "world"--premiere is announced. And, I'm sure, if challenged, the people involved could always claim changes have been made since then.
NYMF shows aren't full productions, but something more along the lines of a lab production (or, really, gussied up backers auditions that charge the public money to attend).
