let's assume that there is virtually no advance, and further assume that by some miracle the show could gross $500k a week for a few (3) weeks. That's a loss of roughly $1mil or more.
Couple questions: (1) where is that million dollars going to come from? (2) if the "you" were you, would you be willing to lose a million dollars on top of the millions you have already lost? (bearing in mind that it would have take a couple more years of sustained Groban level grosses to recoup). |
