| I never bought the (mis)perception that Cook was miscast in 'Carrie' - but then I saw her in it, and I only barely knew who she was before I saw it (I was about 15; seeing 'Carrie' sent me looking for her other recordings). The show was a mess, albeit a mess with a few very good things in it, but she gave a wonderful performance. For my money, nobody - and I mean *nobody* - gets as much out of 'When There's No One' as Cook did. |
