| He's pretty wonderful in it. I never saw him but from the OBC to me nobody has ever brought as many different layers to it than Len Cariou. Hearn was always too operatic sounding for me. Michael Cerveris I honestly don't remember too well and Brian Stokes Mithcell was just sort of odd. (and Depp did surprisingly well in the film) Always love Sweeney stories so join in!!! BTW Carolee Carmello was on vacation when I went but the understudy did a nice job. Not as unbalanced as I've seen it done before but nicely sung. |
