I got my tickets for Bette day-of on StubHub back in previews.
I got $150 house right box seats (face value $225? Maybe $240?) around 5 PM on a Friday afternoon.
Definitely obstructed view - we lost all the "closet" gags in the hat shop scene, and the entirety of Ernestia / Horace's. But being in the room was enough - the energy was unbelievable!
I have a friend who ushers at the shubert and he agrees with the comment below RE: the mezzanine' overhang. I sat balcony center when I saw Donna Murphy a few weeks back and would say they are better seats than the mezz. |
