| No,I love Jessie too (another standout in thr Drood revival),but I couldn't see her getting into the situation the character of Jenna was in. She seems too strong-even though I know producers keep picking her for abused women-next season's Carousel for example. Can't understand why nobody uses her extraordinary comedy talent which was on display in Drood and Nice Work. Just think of what she could do with Funny Girl! She'd be enthralling! Betsy was just a more vulnerable character and made more sense for me. And a more satisfying arc in her portrayal. |
