| I don't know if this has been listed here. It is written by two sisters, Cynthia Brideson and Sara Brideson, I haven't finished it yet. Mr Kelly and his wife Betsy Blair are just settling in at MGM,; There's discussion of how Mr Kelly arrived a t his mixture of American tap, jazz, classical ballet. They authors go in the studio politics and political politics of the day . so even tho I'm only on page 114 of 400 pages, I would highly recommend the book. | |

| Of course not; I just shortened to where I left off.Leave it to Me was his first Broadway show; (tho as a chorus boy.) Time of yur Life was his big breakthrough, Pal Joey is discussed at length((tho oddly I thought, no mention of his working relationship with Vivienne Segal, no quotes from her about Mr Kellyl, He choreographed Best Foot Forward during his 4 week vacation from Pal Joey; I just jumped forward to where I had left off in my reading. It's not lacking at all in discussing his pre-Hollywood caree | |
