Will Broadway Holdbacks Set Springsteen-Schneiderman Showdown?
Posted by: JulieJ 11:17 am EDT 08/18/17

This is an interesting article / opinion piece about the number of seats Springsteen generally holds back from regular sale at his concerts, and how that might impact tickets for his upcoming Broadway run. The article speculates that as much as 90 percent of the tickets will not be made available for public sale and will be held back by Springsteen producers, presumably for direct sale on secondary markets, and urges the New York Attorney General to investigate should the majority of tickets be held back from public sale.

I'm not familiar with this particular publication so I don't know it's reputation for accuracy, and the "industry" sources suggesting 90 percent holdbacks aren't named, but it will be interesting to see how many tickets seem to be made available when they go on sale at the end of the month.
