| It's interesting to read all of the mentions of pop songs in Cook's repertoire. When I first heard her in 1980 at Reno Sweeneys, it was a stunning version of Dan Fogelberg's Longer Than that remains with me to this day and , at the time, opened my mind to contemporary songs worthy of being placed among The American Standard songbook. |
