Broadway & Beyond: Career Transition for Dancers' 28th Anniversary Jubilee
"Broadway & Beyond" was the title and concept of Career Transition for Dancers' 28th Anniversary Jubilee, held on Tuesday evening, October 8 at City Center. Such Broadway shows as Damn Yankees, A Chorus Line, and Annie were sampled throughout the sold-out event, but the audience was also treated to dollops of other forms of dance, from classical to tap to hip-hop. All of that fabulous stuff led up to the Big Moment of the Evening, when superstar Ann-Margret was presented with this year's Rolex Dance Awards by another superstar: Liza Minnelli.
