Sharon Perlmutter is an attorney who "practices law to support her theatre
habit." Blessed with a passion for musicals, but saddled with a four-note
range, Sharon decided fairly early on that her part in musical theatre
would be played from the audience. She attacked the job with a vengeance,
and has amassed a ticket stub collection which broke the lid of its box,
and a Playbill collection fighting the drawers of its file cabinet.
Several years ago, she began judging Junior High and High School Drama
Festivals, and realized just how much there is to say about performing.
Sharon does not focus exclusively on musicals. She frequents several of
LA's resident Shakespeare companies, and is known for a willingness to
drive hundreds of miles for a decent production of Stoppard's Arcadia.
