Tidbits: In a related note, Tom Andersen got a pleasant surprise when he sat ringside to see Michael Feinstein the other night at his swanky new nightclub, Feinstein's at the Regency. In the middle of the show, Michael pointed out the singer-songwriter to the crowd as "the most tremendously talented vocalist" and wisecracked that "Tom has the kind of voice that makes every other singer want to murder him!" Michael also raved about Tom's "incredible CD 'The Journey' and his incredible songs." After the show, another ringside guest came up to Tom, and it was Judy Collins. She gave Tom her card and said, "I'd love to hear your songs!"

If you haven't seen the five-time MAC Award winner sing, head on over to Dream Street at Sam's on April 27th or May 18th where Tom will sing his signature tune, Storybook, from The Scarlet Pimpernel. "Tom is responsible for the success of that song," says lyricist Nan Knighton, "He's extraordinary. Just listen to his CD!"

See you Sunday!
